Billericay SCITT
Are you interested in training to become a primary or or secondary school teacher?
We are one of a growing number of schools leading the way for more school-led teacher training. This is really important to us because it means we can choose the very best talent and develop them into teachers. Being able to choose who we train as teachers helps us to deliver the best outcomes for the students/pupils at (school name).
We’re looking for people who have (or will have) a degree, have a passion for teaching and want to inspire young people to fulfil their potential. We work closely with Billericay Educational Consortium and if you would like to hear more about the teacher training opportunities available, visit their website www.billericayscitt.com. They can also provide you with support and guidance on your application and offer you the chance to gain some school experience if you just want a taster of what teaching could be like.
Southend United Football Club (SUFC)
We work closely with staff at SUFC to improve outcomes for our pupils and engage them in a range of learning activities. They visit regularly and work with classes on a range of activities to promote healthy living and eating and also work with target pupils to help them with their reading. Each year our pupils enjoy taking part in the Southend Unied Community Games event.
